Property investment — FAQ

Everything you need to know about investing in tokenized properties.

Tokenization splits a property into a fixed number of digital shares called tokens. Instead of buying a whole property, an investor can buy a number of tokens and own that fraction of it, with the right to a proportional share of the income the property generates.

Pick an open offering, decide how many tokens you want (subject to the minimum investment), and subscribe. Your subscription is invoiced and, once confirmed, your tokens are recorded on the property's cap table.

When the property generates income (for example rent), the operator creates a distribution. The amount is split pro rata: each holder receives a share in proportion to the tokens they held on the distribution's record date.

If you hold 200 of 1,000 issued tokens (20%) and a distribution of $10,000 is made, you receive 20% = $2,000. Only issued tokens take part; unissued treasury tokens do not receive a distribution.

Yes. Tokens can be transferred to another investor on the secondary market, or bought back by the operator (a redemption), depending on the terms of the offering. Every movement is recorded on an auditable ledger.

Each offering keeps an always-reconciled cap table: it shows how many tokens each investor holds and their ownership percentage, checked against the total token supply at all times.

The ledger is kept off-chain inside the platform, which makes it fast and fully auditable. The system also provides hooks to anchor it on-chain or mirror it as a token later, if the operator chooses to.
